My doctor took me off Geodon

Sure, it’s a smart thing to ask. I’m the same way, if a medication starts affecting me badly like weird side effects then I usually need it pointed out. Would hate, hate, hate to see you have a relapse since you’ve come further than just about anybody else and you’ve earned your good recovery. I read a lot of your posts so I, for one, will keep an eye on you in case you seem to slip. Good luck.

Hitting the one month mark tomorrow. I think my cheese is still (mostly) on my cracker.

Congratulations. :balloon:I am jealous.

One month mark of tapering down. One month to go until med free.

I would rather have stayed on Geodon. Still not happy about this.

Have about three weeks of Geodon left and then I’m off APs.

Haven’t noticed any problems so far.

More importantly: My wife hasn’t noticed any problems.

Ugh. I hate changes.

Wow! Hopefully, this works for you

Are you hearing voices at all?

Congrats! Hope things continue on this path with no major bumps in the road.

Yeah, that’s normal. I can handle them.

Why not switch the medicine? Just concern for you

The doctor thinks there is a good chance I can function without an AP and I would certainly like to if I can pull it off. I have enough other meds with side-effects already.

Off Geodon – and APs altogether --as of this morning. Was actually supposed to be Tuesday morning, but some clumsy idiot dropped a couple of pills down the sink while filling his med caddy.

Oh well.
