When I was a kid growing up and me or my sisters would wish for something like a better bike or wished we were rich or wished we could stay up later or wished we didn’t have to do chores. my dad would say, “Wish in one hand and sh*t in the other and see which fills up fastest.” We got what he meant.

It’s sometimes hard but old people have wisdom because they’ve been there before…well for some things. Not sure of these new kids who grew up with the world wide web!
