Here is some interesting information - you are right, us brits drink a lot of tea. But the quality of the tea in a typical British cuppa is actually quite poor. You average British teabag features fairly low grade tea leaves.

Obviously some tea drinkers venture into more quality tea but mostly our tea, whilst tasty, is sub-standard

Some things about tea are universal though. For instance tea totally tastes better drunk from real China cups

I drink tea every morning. Nothing fancy, usually cheaper labels yet still tasty.

When I went on holiday to. Spain I had a cup of tea and it tasted rubbish so I thought it was the teabag and tried another and tasted rubbish I then found out it was because the milk wasn’t fresh pasteurised milk because of the warm weather
