Background.
This takes place in a backwards small town in the deep south
Vinny is the short guy who walks into the pool hall with his girlfriend Lisa who got cheated out of $200.00 she won in a pool game from the big oaf in this pool hall named “J.T.” Vinny is in the pool hall to collect what Lisa is owed.
Vinny is a lawyer from New York who has that typical New York streetwise attitude. He’s in the small town to defend his cousin who was wrongly accused of murder.
