I could sit there and wish I never told him. But if he doesn’t understand it that’s his problem, not mine.
Some people just don’t have the capacity to sympathize or understand.
At my old job I was this close to telling my coworkers about my illness, but then realized that they probably wouldn’t be receptive to what was going on with me.
Just keep doing you-- those who matter will attempt to understand you for you, minus the illness.
Well him being a senior administrator I thought he would understand or at least… even if he didn’t understand it’s not appropriate to show he doesn’t. I mean clearly he doesn’t know his job.
Yea, it’d be nice if higher-up personnel understood such matters, but sometimes they just don’t.
They really should make it a point to have trainings on these things.
