My therapist said we aren’t going to have group anymore because their budget got cut from $800,000 to $400,000 per year. At least I will still get to see a psychiatrist !!

We’re probably on the chopping block too, because we are pretty near to you where I am. I know one thing - if they try to save money by putting me back on Haldol they’re going to have to catch me first.

Sad times for medicine the world over. Lots of services being cut and changed simply due to the bottom line. It’s not a very good thing is our society where I survive on the largess of the government. It only takes one term of parliament by some number crunchers and I could be frozen out of a lot of decent things!
Sorry you lost your group! Hope for a new change of government and some more spending…but saying that is like saying pigs fly…!
