My case manager quit

He just came by my apartment and told me at 6:30pm. Tomorrow is his last day. He said he considers me a friend and to feel free to call him after he leaves. I don’t really know what I’m going to do without him.

You’ll be okay, I know it’s gonna be hard at first but you’ll be okay… You’ll get a new case manager soon and although you’ll have to start over with a new person but it’ll be okay… Besides you’ll still get to talk to him right?

Talking to them on a personal level is nice though

I’ve been through three caseworkers in the past year. They find better jobs and leave. It happens. I have no expectations when it comes to these folks.

Yes. Where I get my treatment from, the workload for case managers is nuts!!! You’ll be ok though. If you don’t like the new one you can always ask to see a different person if that’s possible. I had 2 great case managers that I miss. But I’m getting along fine without them
