My brother texted me using our dads phone. I haven’t heard from them since they blocked me on facebook. I didn’t answer but I know they just want to cause trouble. I have very few people that I care about my partner’s little sister, nieces and nephews being among them along with my partner
What if he really wanted to talk about something and it wasn’t negative.
I doubt usually if he does want to talk its to make me feel bad for not living with my parents. Even though they are not medicated and constantly fight.

yeah my brother has bipolar disorder and my mom has bipolar disorder with psychotic features. my dad has schizoaffective disorder. they don’t like taking meds they believe it makes them sicker. they prefer to do drugs, cigs and alcohol.
Wow. That’s tough. I have mentally ill family members who don’t take meds too, and some who do. Those who do are much better off I think.
They try to make me choose between my partner and them. My parents and brother put too much focus on vices and not enough on food. We seldom had food

What an awful thing to do. You shouldn’t have to choose. And food is a necessity and a right of a child. I taught my daughter to not thank me for meals - she is entitled to them. I did however teach her to thank me for dessert!
