I’m wondering if my brain is failing. I keep seeing little flashes of something. I will think I saw a cat scurry by, but when I do a double take nothing is there. I’m starting to see things like that fairly often. I also will get up to do something, and forget what I was going to do. It comes back after a couple of minutes, but it happens fairly often. I’m 62 years old. Both my parents died of brain diseases that had the same symptoms as Alzheimer’s, but the diseases had different underlying mechanisms for destroying their brains.

No, i have heard stories
About organs that rot inside the body
But never about rotten brain
(especially the back of the head)

I had a delusion concerning certain chemicals and my brain when I was very ill. I could smell it too and it was a horrible! Scary smell.

Trust me, it feels real, but it is definitely not real.

Good on you for giving up on recreational drugs.

I was very ill. So they hospitalised me and that is when I was given aripiprazole.

I stay absolutely away from drugs and alcohol now.
