My big toe is chronically sore

Am I diabetic? Please say no… :slightly_frowning_face:

That was my first thought.

It’s worthwhile getting it checked out.

Where is it sore? Is it on the side where the nail meets the flesh at the top? Is your toe red? Is it hot to the touch?

My big toes were sore there too. I dug them out. It was sock debris and ingrown nail. It felt much better until it got infected and I had to go get antibiotics to kill the infection. They told me the underlying problem was that I was keeping my nails too short. Now they have me going to a podiatrist who cares for my nails so that he can keep him the correct length and deal with any of them that begin to ingrow. I have to go for 10 minutes every 2 months. My toes don’t hurt all the time any more.
