I do apologise for the dating topics. Yes I get obsessed. But I am not a person who dates many at once. I was lonely and high time I met someone. Yeah you could tell me to get used to my own company but that gets boring. A lifetime friend is what I was after and wanting that is healthy not an obsession. I just wanted to find that ONE friend.

I don’t think its an obsession, just be careful…im debating whether I should get back into the dating scene myself. This is the longest ive been single…with mostly good reason I think.

Good goal. There is no perfect friendship. Fights happen or people lose interest. Friends move away or die.
They might find other friends who they want to spend time with other than you or they get married and don’t have time for you. I hate to be negative but you can’t really predict the future or know how a friendship. will work out. But you may be too picky like me. I have had many opportunies for friendship but I find faults I think I can’t stand.

I don’t think you need to apologize. My best friend is looking for love, but she’s picky - and she should be. She’s trying to find a life partner. Anyway, she goes out on dates with different guys all the time. Some she sees again, some she doesn’t. There are lots of fish in the sea and it’s important to find the one that’s right for you. And it’s also ok if you want to bounce your experiences and thoughts off other people. It’s good to hash through your thoughts as that can help you make a good decision. Good luck!
