Ableton Live 12. been a Live user for the past ā€¦ ten years! i was like 15 or so when i really started taking production seriously but i had been dabbling in it since i was like 12. iā€™m 25 in june. ten years!!! haha

i got live 11 idk if i should upgrade, i heard it doesnt offer much more than 11 but iā€™m still a learner on it, i have a push 2 but idk how it works, i got it cheap.

I donā€™t know because Iā€™m still a learner of it as well. But if youā€™re still learning the basics I would say itā€™s not worth the upgrade. This is my first ableton (I did my trial on ableton 10 years back) and I couldnā€™t find too much of a differenceā€¦

I used splice and mixed some tracks, produced 2 albums but they didnā€™t sell,
One of the tracks i think was plagiarised but they did a better job than me with it anyway and i might have aloud it in the copyright but not sure.

Iā€™m not producing much atm.

in a way, yeah? i started out with ROMpler noisescapes (thank you Omnisphere) and pretty basic trance lead sounds for i think each of these and threw all kinds of FX i love on top, canā€™t fully remember right now but it was a WHOLE process.

Hmmm when Iā€™m stuck at what I do musically, I try to make some other type of music. Maybe you can try to produce other styles!

Guys can you take a litsen and give feedback? Am i in a rut or does this sound at least the same quality as my other songs befor the last couple.
Alsoā€¦i put 2 parts in the bridge im not sure if sax or guitar sound better. Anyways im gonna replay some of the instruments in but kinda wanted to know what u guys thinkā€¦

Hey man, honestly I like the beat and the concept.

I also feel itā€™s a little bit empty sound wise, and the instruments donā€™t really interact with each other. Itā€™s like missing something.

I donā€™t really love the sax sound tbhā€¦

Maybe @zytroxide can give you some tips as well (from someone more experienced)

i like the sound choice here, the leads are pretty well written. iā€™d say you fleshed everything out pretty alright, curious to see where this track goes when youā€™re done.

the most i can offer in terms of feedback is, perhaps incorporate the bass into the sound a bit more consistently throughout the track? but thatā€™s something iā€™d do versus something i think you should absolutely do, i suppose.

Thanks man! I think im still gonna add to itā€¦i just wanted to make sure it didnt sound like crap. I cant tell really. I might take a break from the music and come back to it. Appreciate your feedback man
