Music is yelling

Especially to a musician who hears it up close.

It’s what the mute button is for. How this related to sz btw?

I put it in the “Lounge” category where we’re allowed non=sz subjects.

I was thinking this recently.

Maybe you are listening to the wrong music?

I second that notion. I only listen to classical and jazz. No yelling there. Especially with classical.

To me, the violins seemed like they were yelling.

Try Simon and garfunkel or cat stevens

I’m just suffering from having been a musician. My ears ache and I don’t like any loud sounds.

Same. It’s like knives

I think you’re all high. This feels like stoner talk.

What about slow, soft songs?

That’s just soft yelling, Nick. Even whispers are hurricanes if you’re an ant.

I guess you’re right.

Here’s something nice and relaxing for you. No yelling, loud, or clanging instruments.

But my knuckles still ache from all that careful playing the piano.

Music to me is now awful! I can’t listen to it anymore. Everything to me is yelling including music. But the most awful thing about music is that it is a constant data stream. I can’t ignore it anymore and it overrides all my other thoughts.

I go from the loudest music I can listen to to completely white knuckles at sounds…music…tv anything. I don’t really understand myself.
