music is important to me too only I am looking for other avenues to enjoy in addition to it. I can’t draw and I am very lazy.
music is easy to sit back relax and enjoy.

It’s important, i love it.
It is important for me. Mellow stuff to relax and heavier stuff to motivate myself at the gym.
I find music relaxes me, and challenges my memory is playing sequences of songs. I have a pretty large CD collection but its nothing compared to Youtube.
I’ve found the newer, more obscure music artists that I’ve been listening to for about the last 16 or 17 years has helped me grow intellectually. Sure, it’s great to go on iTunes and download an older more popular album that you may have at the most heard 3 or 4 songs from, sometimes. But it’s contemporary indie, singer-songwriter, electronic and a little r&b that really keeps my blood pumping. Above all it’s very spiritual. I’ve gotten back into some of the big name North American 90s alternative I listened to in my teens and to some extent it’s been a cathartic experience. It’s just that I only listen to it in small doses, because it can be morose. Overall, I’m a music obsessive. I think I’m a pretty good singer and guitar player as well.
