My dad is going to help me move fiances furniture this morning.
Two flights of steps to her condo,
I worry if I am not putting too much pressure on my dad.
He is 72 now and getting a bit old. Plus he has MS. One of his legs does not work that good.
Some of fiances furniture is coming to house and some is being thrown away.
Hopefully we can get it all except bed and one ‘love seat’ that her cat likes to use.
Everything else has to go in this trip.
I’m thinking about trying to contact my cousin and seeing if he will help for cash.

Yes more hands the better especially with 2 flights of stairs @Bowens

It may be less expensive in the long run to pay someone to.move the heavy stuff.

I don’t know about where you live but here you can go to Home Depot and there’s a bunch of day laborers hanging around outside and you can talk to them and arrange for a couple of them to come and help you move for a couple of hours and pay them $15 or $20 an hour. I did this on one of my moves and it worked out well.

I think getting other help is a good idea. Maybe your dad can help with light, small things

We got it all done except bed and this rocking like love seat kind of thingy. Just small stuff left now.
She didnt have any real couches or anything. We cut up the one huge chair she had and dumped in dumpster along with some other things.
