It’s been a lot of work to get to this point.
I won’t be seeing mom tomorrow…I say her today…gave her her card…I hope she likes it, I took forever picking it out…and I got a Hallmark card this time instead of the dollar general ones usually…this is a very special Mother’s Day for us.

I have cut all extended family, one sister, completely zero contact. For good reason. and Forever.
Mother and another sister nearly cut. My spouse told to these two I will regret if I don’t try.

I talked to my mom’s BF about giving me a sneaky ride to the grocer’s tomorrow so I can get my mom some flowers and a card without tipping her off.
We both need to pick them up, his mom lives nearby.

I’m looking forward to spending the day with my daughter. My stepdaughters will each be with their respective mothers.
My daughter makes me a handwritten card for Mothers Day every year and I can’t wait to get one each year. It always makes me feel so good.

I walked across the street and back with flowers to surprise my mom. It took awhile to find a glass tall enough to hold them, I forgot where she keeps the vase. I left it downstairs on the table as a surprise for when she wakes up.
I decided to get them ahead of time so I wouldn’t need a ride and the secret would be safe!

My mom is at my aunts. My sister and her the two younger of her kids are coming around 5 pm. Mom will probably stall until the last minute to come home so our mothers day will likely not really begin for another 10 hours.
I had a stroke on Friday so I’m still in the hospital. I’m upset because I’m not home to be with my kids. They won’t let me have visitors atm. But it is forcing me to relax and be in a quiet environment while I try to recover. I will FaceTime my mom later today hopefully.
