Most awkward supplement for MEN

Yes exacly for MEN. My sister bought me a multivitamin med for MEN. Well it has vitamins A, B2, B6, C, D Calcium, Magnesium etc etc everything blah blah… Among the lines it says: “If you are pregnant or if you breastfeed, contact your doctor or pharmacist before taking any product from it” My question is: How on earth could men get pregnant or breastfeed lol :grey_question:

MEN stands for “Mihai Eminescu’s Nieces”.
Wow I didn’t know you had such a famous grandfather… and that you were a girl

I think it’s a non-discrimination non racist med

They have to put it on for the modern times of gender confused people. For example, women who have transitioned but keep their right to be a woman by keeping their uterus who then get pregnant and need a reminder on the bottle, perhaps…

there really isn’t much of a difference between all the various multivitamins… It’s like fine print type differences though they are slanted to respect the metabolic needs for the designated group. Especially those for the elderly…

But it’s more or less the same thing. Most of a multivitamin goes to waste as absorption of all those nutrients is impossible at the same time. A whole lot of it is flushed out… the body is good at that… though there are some nutrients that can lead to adverse conditions when a certain threshold is met in bodily levels.

The best way to go about it is too get the one with the highest values all around and make sure to take with a very large meal. This slows down the vitamin being digested giving the body more time to properly absorb the constituents instead of just filtering them out through the urine.

The food also plays it’s own part in opening different aspects of the chemistry involved in digestion… allowing the vitamin to compliment the nutritional feedback from the foods.

Really getting nutrition right becomes a science of what contains the essentials… and what foods play well with each other to maximize absorption… then you’d really have something new age. At least basic nutrition is pretty comprehensive in theory of recommended daily intake… if you do your homework they really didn’t know what they were talking about for a long time… sort of the case with modern psychiatry!

@anon51414962 That shows how insincere those people are who made that product. I even doubt whether it is safe to consume that product.

You have to put that on there by law regardless if it’s for men or women. The law doesn’t discriminate against supplements based on gender. Having split them up like this though is good because men and women have different metabolism so they might require other nutrients than each other.

There are stupid things though like pen’s for women. As if a regular pen isn’t able to be used by a girl or something.

But is the most famous multivitamin multimineral here in Romania. It’s called Centrum and it’s for men not for elderly

Actually iron and calcium are usually higher in a womens multi, and iron isn’t well absorbed with calcium and eggs. Women need more iron around their period, too.

It’s for law in case a woman takes them by accident and also trans individuals may take them and a trans man could become pregnant or breastfeed.
