More considerations about sz

Something else I have been thinking about is the tendency of sz to have religious experiences. I do not know if religious prophets had sz or if it is the religious discourses that sz relates to. My own experience is not having religious delusions or hallucinations but at one time i was preoccupied with christianity and when the police detained me they confiscated a bible i was carrying. When i consider sz a phenomena my own pet theory is that the disorder amplifies normal brain functions to the point of disorder. Most people are religious so they think god is watching them and a normal social mind constantly thinks what others would think of whatever they are doing at any time. So it is normal to think and behave that others are watching you. I just think that voices are amplified internal voices and delusions are corruptions of our interpretation of reality and thinking others are watching or controlling is the regular perception gone awry. Afterall why would the brain do something it doesnt do just because some neurotransmitters are being overproduced and recieved by too many synapsis.
