Moons fitness recovery post

Im going to try to keep up with this and go to the gym 3x per week to start with. I already did one this week, and i signed up for a group tomorrow called functional fitness. Its exercises to improve strength for every day tasks like bending. I need that really bad. Working out is part of my recovery and i miss it.

Heres my “day 1” pic

I really want to get back into meal prep. I used to meal prep these. Was good for weight loss. Each had one cup of fruit one cup of protein one cup of carbs and one cup of vegetables.

It’s so hard to lose weight FK! Seema like I’m always trying but the progress is so slow!

One thing I learned is that the margin of error for a thin person is very small calorie wise when eating. The closer you get to say 2000 calories or whatever your maintainance is the more it hurts. So measuring is very important. I think measuring is the key to weight loss.

Good luck @Moon you got this!

Good luck. My exercise is mostly embedded in my daily life, these days. When I work, I have to walk up a million stairs. There is always something going on with the house, etc.

Took yesterday off of exercising because i did some dishes in the morning and i was shaking drom the previous workout. I wanted to go but i need to listen to my body so i dont over do it especially so early on

Today im going to the gym to work out a bit and swim after wards. :flexed_biceps:

I wish I could do the gym equipment

Can’t seem to keep focus doing it

But swimming I love doing that

You can really do well even just doing that

There’s a guy I see at the gym maybe in late 20’s who has lost a lot of weight

From the various tips etc online, the one I believe in is keep your body guessing

If you get to routine and slip into a comfort doing an exercise like swimming you’re less likely to lose weight. But maybe keep it neutral. That’s what I have observed any way

So I mix up intensity as the main lever to vary the exercise

That’s awesome to hear Moon!

Very good idea about mixing up intensity. Today i did lower intensity than a couple days ago, i want to really ease into it because i tend to go ahed at first and get burnt out quickly.

I hope you keep going at it

I been trying to come up with a cheap and healthy diet. I think I’m gonna go back to having salads for a while but to make it cheap I’ll have hotdogs instead of chicken breast.

Either that or I’ll make premade meals and freeze them. Meal prep. I have aarge freezer now so I can make a ton of them.
