@Truemist8 I think you mean me? I’m not loaded but do travel. I have limited monthly expenses as I’m on a community treatment order which means I don’t have to pay for my support hours for the group home. I’m on a section 117 (UK) which means I don’t have to contribute for my support hours. I get 21 one-to-one a week for support workers, this jest means going out for a coffee or cinema with my staff. But I’ve been sectioned 16 times in 11 years.
I went to Turkey with my staff in April and it cost me over £3000 just for the support hours plus the holiday costings. I’m going to Sri Lanka again for 26 days in 3 weeks time on my own. Holidays keep me well.
Just to say people in my group home without section 117 aftercare have to pay just over £500 a month just for their support hours out their monthly benefits. Which I don’t
I have a friend with SZ in another group home in my town. Same group home company - but he spends all his money on weed and wonders why he can’t travel. I spend all my money on travel, if that makes sense?

I’m here I took a break due to anxiety of my eye appointment I have to get a needle in my eye soon but it’s just a long long story but yeah I’m back and will be posting again
I want that surgery done soon I’ll be ok I’ve had needles in the eye before
I’m glad somebody noticed I wasn’t posting also I’m gonna try to spend a bit less time on the website It was getting too much I was waking up in the middle of the night too check up on it
