Mind over physical health

When I suggested that these meds might be causing me to gain weight my GP told me that my mental health was considered more important at this rate. I do agree. I just have to push myself to walk everyday whether I lose weight or not. It will help my overall fitness and push me out the house and improve my mental health hopefully

Are you still nervous to go out?

I go out …I tend not to go on my own much though. For example I go for a walk with my mum. Obviously I go alone when she’s not able to be with me

I’m on okedi and that doesn’t do much of weight gaining. Im although motivated enough to do sports daily and work. I remember olanzapine pushing me in the blankets. Maybe ask your pdoc about okedi, it is really good.

On the other hand my thoughts are not as smooth as on olanzapine, I’m quite active in my head what is quite annoying. I would discribe my mind on okedi as disturbed.

Both are important. No reason you can’t work on both. But he’s kinda right if you’re worried about weight gain it’s not really about exercise. It’s more about eating less and most people overeat to deal with emotional/mental issues. In either case dealing with your mental health first may be a good move.
Then again walking etc can help with that a bit.

Id say work a little on both.
