Need some get up and go.
In place of seroquel you mean ?
i am on aripirazole and quetepine
No I think I need the seroquel. It would be instead of the depixol depot. I think they do an abilify depot too.
They do (do an abilify depot)
Does the stimulation from the abilify counteract the sedation from seroquel. I think I need some sedation.
no i dont think so
abilify dont do anythink to me but i am not sedated from quetepine
Does that combination work for you?
yes i am happy, quetepine alone would be nbot enough for me and i am on low dose of quetepine 200 mg and aripiprazole 20 mg … i am on two drugs i am stable… aripiprazole alone i dont know how it would work to me
@everhopeful is abilify cognitive sparing?
Yes. But for the first month or so you feel sedated and dumbed down. Then that goes away.
See right now I want some get up and go and good cognition. Maybe I should hold off the beta alanine?
If I was to go on abilify I would only want 10mg a day
Lol. I wish it were as simple as just wanting it. I went from 10mg to 15mg and it was a good decision for me. I felt more stable.
I’d still give it a go. Even if you just use it prn. It’s better than L-theanine.
I was given 5mg aripiprazole to go with my olanzapine a few months ago, and it seems to have made me a little less tired with perhaps a slight boost to my focus as a result. It also seems to have made me lose some of my excess weight with no effort on my part.
It’s possibly contributing to an increase in anxiety though. Certainly when it was my main AP it made me very anxious and restless all the time, though I was at 30mg then when taking it orally, or the max dose when getting the depot
I swear, I might go back on Abilify.
My father wants me to retry it.
He keeps reminding me that I was at my physically healthiest while I was on it.
This time I won’t be taking it with Tegretol.
There is an interaction between those two drugs.
Abilify overall is a safer AP.
