Mailed out our pregnancy announcements yesterday…
Had an NIPT blood draw on Monday..
It checks for certain chromosomal issues with da baby and it will also confirm if the baby is a girl.
Probably won’t get results for 2+ weeks unfortunately
I’m SO exhausted today..
I guess that’s not new… lol..
But today my daughter let me sleep till 7:25.. that should have been plenty of sleep
I’m so antsy for everyone to get their pregnancy announcements I sent out…
I’m worried to hear my sisters opinion honestly..
She wasn’t too impressed by my older brother having a kid..

But you are not your brother and you are already being a great mom to your daughter and step son. You’re just being nervous. Relax, and enjoy the pregnancy!
I can’t stop sleeping.
I thought the tiredness would end in the 2nd trimester, what the heck.
Like it’s bad, by the end of the day I’m falling asleep feeding my daughter dinner.
Sorry to hear that, wonderer.
At least that might end after birth
Lots of women who are pregnant while having a little one are completely exhausted. Just do your best to rest when possible. Eat healthy for good energy. Drink plenty of water. That’s all you can do. It’s totally normally to be exhausted while raising little ones
Da baby is officially a girl.
Had a blood test done called NIPT and it came back saying “girl”, there’s also no chromosomal abnormalities detected.
Thank goodness!!! A beautiful baby girl. ![]()
I’ve lost 6 pounds since finding out I’m pregnant.
So different than my first pregnancy.
I gained so much weight in the beginning.
Congrats on the healthy baby girl ![]()
I’m tempted to start buying stuff for the baby already.
But I suppose I’ll wait.
14 weeks now
Did you save clothes and other stuff from when your daughter was an infant?
I would start with pulling out that stuff first and washing it all before buying new stuff, at least for a few more weeks. However, I understand the excitement!
I apparently didn’t keep any 0-12 month clothes ![]()
I swear I did…
But they would have been at my parents so I’m pretty sure my mom somehow accidentally got rid of them.. ugh!
Oh, that’s quite a loss!
A great place to collect baby clothes without breaking the bank is going around to thrift stores and yard sales slowly over the course of your pregnancy. You could do one thrift store a week and collect clothes and things slowly. It might be a fun thing to do. And you could bring your daughter along to “help” mommy find things for the new baby. It would make her feel good to “help”
Yeah
I’m pretty bummed about it @Vinegar
When my mom comes to visit we’re planning to go to a kids clothing resale place like an hour away.
She’s also gonna look at the kids clothing resale place by her before she comes. ![]()
That’s nice of your mom to want to help you. She probably feels terrible for getting rid of your daughters infant clothes.
Yeah… ![]()
I also have a bunch of credit at the kids clothing resale place by her, so that’s also why she’s gonna look over there.
