I probably should not have coffee, but I can not sleep and so I made some coffee. I have all kinds of thoughts in my mind. I am glad that the winter is soon over. I think it is good for my mind. I have not been in any restaurants or bars or any other entertainment places in the past 13 years. I am alone quite a lot, but I see people when I ride my bicycle. The winter was quite stressful which increased voices I had, but I think that this coming spring will be good for me. I have been nearly 20 years in my little town after returning from the USA in 2002. The town is quite peaceful and far from main international centers. Helsinki and Saint Petersburg are the closest major cities. I would like to visit Saint Petersburg, Russia but this is increasingly more difficult because of sanctions the western nations have placed on Russia. Also there is still the coronavirus pandemic. We have also received refugees from Ukraine and we still have refugees from Syria. What are you up to now?
I was watching Pokémon Sun and Moon with my dad. Now my stepmom is home and she wants to watch The Office. I don’t know what I’ll watch after that. Maybe Animal Planet.
Sometimes I make a decaf if it’s close to bedtime. I started making my own coffee I bought a tub of Folgers for like 8 dollars.
I talked with my local grocery store person and she said that there will be a 10 % increase in coffee prices soon. Where is all this heading, coffee prices are just going up and up? Annual coffee inflation is very high. But I can not live without coffee and I just made my afternoon coffee.
Isn’t Finland the country that drinks the most coffee.
My grandmother was a coffee drinker everyday. I hope you don’t go without your coffee. Losing everything else it seems.
@Rester @roxanna I probably drink too much coffee, 500 g a week, so 26 kg a year which is quite a lot. I drink 365 liters of milk a year which is also a lot. I could decrease my coffee consumption.
Google says Finn’s drink 3 to 5 cups a day. Some sites say 8 cups a day.

Yep, we drink a lot of coffee here. Coffee prices are going up, but it may not reduce the coffee consumption. It is better to drink coffee than drinking some unhealthy drinks such as alcohol and sugar drinks. I drink also quite a lot of orange juice. I drink my coffee with nonfat milk. It is nice to wake up and have a cup of freshly made coffee.
Do you ever make cold brew coffee?
I drink three cups of coffee a day. Caffeine triggers my anxiety and panic- attacks but it lifts my depression. So I always have to plan what I’m going to do when I drink coffee.
