So your voices tell you about a microchip? When I was psychotic I thought I had implants in my brain. I could feel them.

No, they don’t say this. It was a conclusiion to make to explain it without believeing delusion theories, alien theories and demon theories.

People who believe in the microchip theory often fail to realize that a century ago - when technology was way more primitive than it is now - schizophrenics had similar beliefs, based on the scientific knowledge of that time. They would think someone remotely controlled them via radio waves, for example.

The common denominator of all these delusions is that people feel they have lost control over their own minds, which is true. Schizophrenia is in fact caused by the brain rebelling against itself. But the reason why it does that is still unknown.

When my delusions were really bad in America, I thought that I was surveilled by satellites and that these satellites communicated directly to my mind giving me instructions where to go to such as the public shopping malls where they were not able to use this remote satellite communications. I had voices such as ‘look at your forehead, there is X the symbol of Satan’ and when I looked at my forehead there was a small scar that looked like X. Some really weird things happened in the States.

When I was psychotic I thought I had alien technology in my brain that gave me superpowers like telepathy and telekinesis. Unfortunately they were delusions :stuck_out_tongue:

Yep, they are all delusions. I had also this telepathic delusion, a voice came and said that just by looking at people’s forehead I was able to read people’s minds, these were just delusions, but at the time they seemed so real. My delusions were really bad a long time ago.
