Why do people assume I’m on drugs when I become paranoid? It hurts someone would think that.
I think since people understand the effects of drugs a lot more commonly than they understand mental illness it’s just a quick assumption. When you see someone struggling in a way, we try to categorize people. Put them in boxes. This person is happy. This person is struggling. This person looks high. This person looks drunk. That sort of thing.
I don’t think it’s intentional. It’s just human nature.
The answer is to stop caring what others think. People think I’m on drugs, all the time. I just don’t care anymore, and focus on myself. People can think what they want, and I don’t have to explain myself to them.
Because it is one of the side effects of drugs and what would you expect from normies, its all they know…
