Met with my supervisor today

He wanted to talk to me about the email I sent him a couple days ago, in which I told him I do not think I am ever going to be good at this job. I was a little nervous about our meeting, but he was totally cool. He said he will email a couple people and see if I can transfer, possibly to outpatient pharmacy. At least he’s open to me going to another part of the hospital. Maybe I won’t have to just continue working until I get fired. He said for the time being we will continue with my training, as if I am not going anywhere. It was a relief.

That sounds like it was a really productive email! Do you think an outptient pharmacy would be better, or would you run into many of the same problems? Sorry, I don’t know much about pharmacies.

Outpatient pharmacy is essentially the same as retail pharmacy, my old job, which I did for two and a half years. The big difference is it would pay a lot more than retail pharmacy, I believe I would make the same wage I’m making now, and I would still have the awesome benefits package. I don’t like running registers and stuff like that, but I certainly could live with it.

Than I hope they are able to accommodate you. That sounds like a really good option.
