Yes, Im a bit tired…
Lot of folks who were here three years up to now are missing for some time.
That affects the quality of thread subjects.

I’ve been here a while, Never ran into trouble until they tightened all the rules and introduced flagging,

I get treated like a criminal sometimes, after all the years and support i have given, the minute i try and improve myself by building stronger beliefs i am cast down for religiosity

I dont think the moderation is reason.
I’m agnostic myself but I can see how you might view this forum as antireligious. The anti religion people get to say whatever they want to disparage religion. I personally think that should be put to a halt as quickly as people expressing their religious beliefs are. It should work both ways…it should be that you can neither promote nor disparage a religion if you are going to have a ban on religious talk…but it seems to be only one way.

Atheists are absolutely not allowed to talk trash. We have one member that constantly posts things bad about “Allah” and gets shut down.
If I see it, I jump on it and shut it down. Atheism gets no favoritism. And that’s coming from an atheist.
Now if someone mentions they don’t like religion, I don’t shut it down but I, also don’t shut down or delete posts where people say they will pray for someone, though technically I am supposed to.

I kinda think the rules are too strict atm so i’m not for tightening them even more, probably why a lot of folk have left but idk
I think that’s a great question for those who run this site, maybe rethink their strategy to keep people here. Maybe this site is doing a good job at getting new members but has trouble keeping up the old ones.
I don’t even know if it’s a real issue, but they have data, so they might need to do some kind of data analytics process to help maintain people, who knows what variables correlate the most with people leaving the forum? We can keep guessing here for months when they have the data

Most people that have left lately have done so because they say they are addicted to the forum and want to do other things.
Others get offended by someone and leave. There’s many reasons.

you’d need to do a very broad survey which would probably not be easy to do, probably impossible
