If your multi episodic then chances are your on meds for life or until better treatment or cure.

They cant fully understand it yet and not be very soon 
I have a good feeling about a better treatment in the future.
Remember, just 80 years ago we didn’t have chemotherapy. Also they were performing horrible damaging lobotomies. Think of how far we have come since, and then imagine what it’s gonna look like in reverse twenty years from now.
I’m only 34, and I want to live long enough to be a 75 year old who is asymptomatic thanks to advanced treatment or a cure.
At this present stage, the medication is the best they’ve currently got to treat schizophrenia. And the medication has improved since they first started making it. Treating mental health has come a long way from where it first started, so i’m sure that things are only going to continue getting better in the long run. Just like @agent101g says.
