Meditation thread

Who else here meditates? What kind of meditation do you practice and when do you practice?
I’ve been meditating every day for years now. Today I’ve been practicing “selective thinking,” aka “selective watering,” meditation for three minutes spurts.

Meditation makes my positive symptoms act up. Not good for me.

I’ve found laughing yoga helpful, as well. It’s very simple and easy; one method would be to just start laughing/start making laughing sounds on purpose. It makes me laugh, it feels good, and it helps me.

Hmmm. I can try this. I never laugh in general.

You can go “ho ho ha ha,” “ho ho ha ha ha,” “ha. Ha ha. Ha ha ha,” etc. There’s good YT videos on it.

Do you feel a difference with mindfulness meditation after practising for so long?

It’s definitely helped me feel good sometimes. I think I’ve practiced incorrectly for a long time…today I’ve noticed some changes after practicing selective thinking properly.

I have been practicing Meditation for 8 years. Recently I’ve found I can choose to feel happy by wishing. This meditation is called Vipassana or Insight Meditation.
