I talk a lot about meditation on this forum. So I decided to create a thread dedicated to mindfulness and meditation.
I’ll kick it off by asking, who here meditates? Why or why not? What do you think about meditation? Are you mindful right now? Speak your mind about meditation!
Ive meditated on and off at random times. I used to go by a lake n just alternate between open and shut eyes. Concentrating on breath. That was a while ago. Recently started doing guided ones from youtube. Ive noticed a difference already. Not as stressed. Calmer. More enjoyment out of daily life. Its cool just being able to take some time out. I usually put my hat over my eyes n i prefer ones with deep ambient music.
I used to do sitting meditation for many years but now my values and interests have changed. My style of meditation now is to go sit under a tree and play my Native American Flute or Didgeridoo for a while. Somehow communing with nature resets my innermost self.
