Yes, assuming the phase 2 results are good, it still takes around 3 or 4 years for phase 3.

As previously reported on this site, Karuna’s KarXt has positive phase 2 topline results and will proceed to phase 3 in 2020. They will also begin testing it for negative and cognitive symptoms in humans.
A Sanskrit word, karuna is any action taken to diminish the suffering of others.

Thanks for the info. I signed a form today with my Pdoc to see a specialist who can possibly put me on a medication that isn’t yet on the market, or know of drug combinations that my Pdoc is unaware of. I will mention some of these when I see the specialist, although it may be months before I get that chance.

What’s it for?: Treatment of Persistent Prominent Negative Symptoms in Patients With Schizophrenia
What’s so great/interesting about it? It modulates dopamine D1 and D2 receptor-mediated intraneuronal signaling without binding to these receptors. The modulation of the dopaminergic function is believed to reduce negative symptoms and to keep positive symptoms stabilized.
I’m not aware of a whole bunch of new developments at this point. I think the pandemic has delayed a lot of things - evenamide for one.

AFAIK Minerva (the maker of Roluperidone) hasn’t yet released the data from the study ending around March 2020.
Some Karuna KarXT data were released in Nov and covered earlier in this thread.

@twinklestars I am misrebly pyschotic I am so scared to go out … I was on seroquel 200 mg at nights …and sertaline (ssri )antidepresaant… Seroquel wass good for sleep and psychois …tried to quit turkey … and added Ambein …BUT i am higly suicidal now…
