Mechanic just like my dad

so I found a school, fox valley technical college in Appleton Wisconsin, that offers a certification for golf course mechanics. I think I’m going to go for it. it’s 38 credit hours so it should take me 3 semesters. after that I’m going to try to move back home and get a job at one of the casinos golf dept. once I’m working and earning money ill probably enroll at Penn State, they offer online associates or bachelors in turfgrass management. although i’ll probably only get an associates.

I feel like having a mechanical and turf background will give me a leg up to becoming a salaried superintendent somewhere. anyways that’s the plan. I have to work for year to save up some money for the move to Appleton Wisconsin. i’m dreading the cold but once it’s over I can go out and find work in Florida, California, Arizona, Georgia, or Carolina. anywhere golf is popular really.

I wouldn’t mention the locations, but sounds cool.

just thought Id pass that information along for all my civilian brethren, if anybody’s interested in checking it out themselves. You can even find the courses required with a internet search.

like I said before, I’m paranoid of police not universities or internet forums

Good luck!:four_leaf_clover: May all your dreams come true
