Mathematical deterioration

Have you noticed that psz or sz has lead to the deteriorated mathematical abilities?

not really haha, i once worked out the speed of the plane i was on by calculating the time, distance and then i ended up going even further and calculating the speed of the rotation of the earth compared to us but i didn’t factor in the wind speed in the jet stream so i could have been off a bit lol,

i also worked out how much electricity i was using and what it cost going by the wattage on the bulbs and how much kilowatt hours i was using but i found out later that i was a bit off but not much. on the bill it says that i use 25p electricity a day and i worked out it was 10p for a light bulb but it wasn’t an energy saving one so thats what got me lol my friends from college came over and i was working out all of the prices for the electricity i was using lol, the tv caught me out as well bc its an LED tv and it uses less energy than a normal tv but without actually knowing how long its been on and the energy it requires you can’t get an accurate picture of how much it costs, there is also a thing on the bill called a tariff which messes with the price and my discount.

my math is actually better, but thats because i had to use some applied math for work so i spent time learning

I have schizoaffective and yes I have noticed a decline. I was able to do stats in my head but can’t now. Now I need a calculator to balance the budget.

Try to calculate this in your mind, 45629*28391, when I lived in my auto in America I used to calculate these in my mind and time it, but I have not done this in 12 years, my mind just is not working as well as it did then.

It’s ok we have calculators for that

Wow, this is hard even for a Chinese who has a language that makes calculation much more simple. You DID have a sharp mind before, mjseu.

Sutdying at uni before getting to the worst point of my psychosis I was getting 95% in my Maths courses, atm I’m struggling to get the 45% pass rate

Fortunately I haven’t needed to solve any partial differential equations in my daily life

My math is still pretty functional. It’s my reading and grammar that started to fall apart.

i only averaged maths anyway so not completely failed but not amazingly good either. my mum is going to teach me my times tables so that i can take a maths course. i’ve all but forgotten them to be honest. xxx

My mathematics abilities come and go. Sometimes I have mathematical questions.
