Making small changes to improve health

I’m making small changes to improve my health.
The things I’ve done so far are:

Working together with a movement coach
Taking daily vitamins
No butter on bread
No sugar or sweetener in coffee

What are some of the little things you’ve done to improve your health?

I made a change about 5 days ago. My diet since ive been a kid has been majority junk food like chips and candy. Then i was eating a slice of pizza and my brain wasnt quite right. I mistook the cheese for a mouse tail. It freaked me out so i googled about bugs and mice in food and what i read about what is allowed in processed food freaked me out so much i stopped eating it haha. I been eating only meat, fruits and vegetables. My heart rate has already dropped a lot and ive lost about 4 pounds. My cravings are starting to decease a lot.

I’m going to the pharmacy today to buy some garlic tablets. I’m convinced I have a deficiency of some nutrients in garlic because I’m mad about Mezzettas basil pesto and it’s not the basil.

I’m going to walk every day 30 minutes weather permitting.

My tips would to be to cutout needless sources of sugar.
Soda and fruit juice are the worst. You are much better off buying fresh fruit like strawberries, kiwi etc and eating them instead to get your tasty sweetness.
Also cut down on crisps (potato chips) they are full of calories. People recommend baking peppers (or any veg really) instead and seasoning them. Lots more vitamins.

Sadly I’m one of those “all or nothing at all” people.

Sounds like a good start!

When I was in hospital, they started me on Vitamin D.

Now I take a multi-vitamin also

Still have butter, but I buy light

No sugar or sweetener for me either! I used to have four teaspoons of sugar in my coffee

Although, the diet coke I drink is a lot… I drink about 2 litres a day!
