Local ALDI shopping store

15cent for a packet of noodles,

how do they make any profit for that price?

Good question. I like some of their stuff. I don’t buy their meat though. What do you buy there?

They treat their employees like crap. They time their bathroom breaks and use them for who knows how many hours extra.
A friend of mine worked for Aldi and wound up working 60+ hours in a week!

They probably make very little if any profit on that product but they make profits on other products so they maybe don’t really care

Isn’t this what the Germans are known for? Operating sweatshops? And things like it?
