Likely having cataract surgery

I went to get my eyes checked for diabetic damage awhile back. I believe it was while the forum was down.

No damage but they said cataracts in both eyes have worsened significantly.

My right eye is very foggy.

Anyway, they offered me the option of having surgery for cataracts and I agreed to it. I have pre operation appointments in october and november.

Expecting surgery late this year of early next year.

Will be nice to improve my vision. Especially in the right eye.

Super easy surgery and recovery time!

You’ll do just fine and be seeing the forum in new light before you know it.

Word up,

You may see more than you’d like to.

A lot of people compare it to getting HD.

You start noticing how super old everyone looks,

Unfortunately mainly you.

Maybe cataracts were natures way of keeping our self esteem up?

Why must we play god?

Last year when I got my routine eye exam the doctor said that I have very small cataracts in both eyes.

I have my next routine eye exam next month and I’ll see if the cataracts got bigger.

Antipsychotics can aggravate cataracts

Good luck in the op.
My Grandad has had the op. Said colours were lots clearer afterwards.
My mum will need the op at some point but she is scared about having it done too early in case she has to get it again (shes in her 60s)
