I can only share what I did to get started after my diagnosis etc.
whatever job I could get I took and some like substituting was totally not easy under the circumstances.
when I decided library was the way I wanted to go I begged for a job where I could through my dad who ran the place at the time and he gave it to me thank God.
after my dad died some people wanted me out including my super but I fought back and won.
in other words, try and try and stick by your guns!!!
My life is good in many ways but could also improve in so many ways. My mental health needs improvement. I want to get back on a benzo but I don’t want the bad withdrawals.
Judy thank you for sharing that things are going well for you. I’m really happy that you have a positive attitude even though you’re going through chemo. What an amazingly strong woman you are. Oh and happy early Mother’s Day to you.
thanks for all your caring and support. i truly appreciate it.
i am working on going back on full time at work now that chemo is easier than it was. i had reduced to part time in the start of chemo when it was very difficult.
my mom isn’t well and cannot be supportive now even though i could use some support at home. she screams and yells and insults etc. etc. etc. i am going to try to stay away from home as much as i can.
