Hi everyone, what is your level of education? I am highly educated, I have had a long college career. I have 3 Associate’s degrees from community college (Computer Repair, Computer Networking, and General Studies), I have 1 Bachelor’s degree from Central Penn College (Information Technology w/minor in Cyber Security), and I also have a Micromasters from RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) in information Security. I also have 2 professional certifications, CompTIA A+, and I am a PTCB certified Pharmacy Technician.
That’s impressive, well done.
That is impressive. I only have BSc in Computer Science with minor in Maths.
I’m a college dropout.
There is another professional certification called CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), I may sit for that soon. My line of work is ethical hacking, I love my line of work, it is interesting and fun! I still have not started my career in my field yet but I have plans to move out of my current apartment and then once I do that I will look for a job in Information Security, starting salary in my field is around $120,000/year.
I have an Associates in Business Administration.
I have an MBA but wasn’t sick when I got it. I obviously have a Bachelor’s also.
I did get an AS at community college in Aviation maintenance technology with sz.
I only have a BA in Economics. I start a Masters in september. But who knows if I’ll even manage it.
Well done achieving all those credentials. It’s really cool
My only qualification certificate is my 5 meter swimming PUFFIN badge when I was 5 years only. My Mum sawed the badge on my swim shorts.
I have an AA, a BS, and an MS… haven’t done a damn thing with any of them aside from a 5 months stint over 10 years ago. I can do the test regurgitation and paper writing but I just can’t deal with the interactions with people.
4 years of college
Didn’t graduate
I got my Associates degree in Humanities in December of 2022.
That’s not really a high-end certification. Saying this as someone who has a bunch of CompTIA certs. IT certs are not highly regarded by employers.
I did some college. I really want to go back to finish my pharmacy training. And also work on learning some languages.
I wish I could learn a bunch of things but I can’t afford it
I’m considering an MBA in AI Management.
I’ve always wanted to live in Toronto! It seems so clean
I want to go to evening classes to learn basic Italian as I have a desire to go backpacking around Italy for a month before I’m 40 in 2 years time. I do love visiting Italy.
I got sza my 3rd year but still graduated with a bachelors
I have a bachelors degree.
I also completed one masters class. It was not a good time for me to start a masters program when I did. So, I dropped out of my program. Then it turned out my former field of work no longer requires a masters degree or posts jobs with masters degree preferred for managers. So, it turns out there was no reason to get one anyway.
Then I got a certificate of massage therapy from a community college.
High school diploma. I got to University but got kicked out after a year and a half for low grade point average. I was struggling mentally back then.
If you already have a bachelor’s degree you might want to consider a micromasters from EDX, these are 12-credit graduate level programs and will only set you back about $1600 versus about $30,000 for a full-blown masters, these programs are open enrollment so you do not have to be accepted at the school to attend, also no GRE test. There are 100s of programs available, you can even get one from Harvard as long as you can handle Harvard-level coursework!
