I had some good years in my thirties where I was working, going to school, had friends, attended 5 or 6 AA meetings a week and socialized a lot. I was busy and having a lot of fun and I don’t remember my symptoms bothering me too much. I believe there’s something to the theory that we should keep busy and enjoy ourselves and don’t dwell on our illness.
nick. i am trying to convince myself that i am basically a well person. in harmony with the thought that “you’re as sick as you feel…”.

Well, it helps if you are doing normal things like working or going to school and doing other things and going out to normal places. I believe you’re working so that helps.
I think that’s a good question. But I think the answer is first schizophrenia would have to go and then we could enjoy ourselves. Not the other way round unfortunately.
It’s a nice thought though.
