Supposedly you’ve got to report your earnings right away,
then your rent goes up substantially. These mothers or fathers
also need 20’s in their wallets, Let’s go out to Pizza Hut, kids!
It depends. It’s called fraud, but I only recertified once a year,
and nobody came down on me.

I’m talking about the working class poor, where the benefits don’t cease once you lock into some kind of work. Otherwise your whole pay check would go to rent. You still need to pay the the car payment, the cell phone, food and personal items. Putting money into the poor’s pockets is worthwhile in the end.

@anon4362788 my husband and I are also both disabled. We don’t have section 8 though. I wish our mortgage was a lot lower.
We just qualified after waiting a year.

No, I don’t, but always have, just not right now.
I needed Section 8 for years, not making enough to support myself and 2 kids.
then, at $10 an hour they raised it to $585 per month, plus child care, and everything else.
all services are based on income, and don’t reward work.
I been thinking about some type of work I allowed to earn up to $800 without them docking disability but then I get realistic and think how
