"Lean" a string quartet arranged by Anthony

Did you really carry me when I was asleep?
Did you try to defend me when I was weak?
Did you pick me up that lonely night
When the lights died out and I turned to the gray side?
Did you carry me when I was asleep?

Now you’re out on the bottomless sea
So it’s time for you to lean on me, lean on me
Now you’re out on the bottomless sea
So it’s time for you to lean on me, lean on me

Very nice, I wish I could also make some music, actually I did try in 2006. I created the Devil Records and then made my own music, but people did not like my lyrics. I suppose I just have to write poems.

I’ve been playing classical and gospel songs for 22 years now. I just decided to take one of my favorite contemporary songs (in this case, Lean by Oh Land), and rearrange it.

It’s also my first time playing with strings, which is much trickier than piano.

I really hope you guys like it, and find meaning in the lyrics, which are beautiful.

Blessings,

Anthony
