Latuda experiences

You have to take latuda with a certain amount of calories. Would you have the discipline for that? I’d probably struggle with that. Especially if I was taking it twice a day.

I’m scared for you. Ask your doctor but I did what you did using this forum and I lost ten years of my life in false promises of lower weight gain

Which AP are you on now @PikaTchu?
If you don’t mind me asking

I was told Latuda was weight neutral. A few months later and adorned with an extra 50 lbs, I accepted it wasn’t for me.
It could be totally different for you though. I hope you’re able to find something that works and has side effects that are more manageable.

I *think 1st generation APs are a little more weight neutral, but I have trouble trusting again :sweat_smile:

i am on Lurasidone (latuda) it works great for me it improve my all symptoms (delusions+motivation+mood+cognitive) it increases weight less than other antipsychotics.i have no problems with it or side effects. but lately I developed EPS and indigestion but it was due to N-acetylcysteine intake.i must take it with at least 350 calorie meal. i am taking it for about 17 months now.

I like latuda. It eased my voices and although it’s sleep effect it’s pretty good med. I hope you find a med that helps.
