Latuda anyone

My pdoc just perscribed me latuda as a second AP medication. anybody have any info on if it works

I was on it for a short while. I didn’t have any delusions or hallucinations when I was on it, but it seemed like I was mad all the time. That could have been from withdrawal from Geodon and Seroquel, though.

I used Latuda for a very short period. It made me very tired so i stopped using it.

I’m on 80 mg Latuda with my 50 mg Seroquel.

I was fighting through some very deep negative symptoms… (I feel I was catatonic some times)

But the Latuda got me up and moving. It’s balanced out by the Seroquel.

It’s worked out very well for me. Latuda seems to help me keep the weight down a bit more too…

I just started taking it myself. Right now I’m taking 20mg. Podcasts wants to start me off slowly. Trying to get use to the wretched nauseous and eat enough calories to keep from getting sick.

Gave me heart pains and shortness of breathe when used with caffiene, and trying to workout.

My pdoc advised to switch to decaf because the med is very activating

I think it made me tear a heart muscle that still bothers me to this day.

It’s one of the few that do not affect your qt interval.

It did something to me. I was on it and drank some preworkout drink, worked out and had chest pains and breathing issues. The pain was where my heart is and hurt. Then it slowly went away but I still get little bits of it.

Advise to check with cardiologist, if nohing they can give you flexeril for your chest pain or nitroglycerin if it’s related to just muscle spasms called angina.
