the kiameechees are mountain hills in Oklahoma and my grandfather used to drop me off at who we called “grandpa Hensley” and he taught me many things…like how to make a bullwhip out of a green branch, stuff like that…really hillbilly guy. They all passed away now…but I have fond memories…

I think the Kiameechees are big in Dallas as a way to get away from the rat race. Me and my friends went backpacking in the Ouachatas one time, but we couldn’t get far enough away from civilization. When I went backpacking I wanted to get completely away from civilization. We used to go backpacking in the Buffalo River area, on Big Devil creek, when I was in high school. It was a lot of fun.
