I was in the psy. ER yesterday and my pdoc wanted me be admitted so that I could start redoing my medications. I don’t understand why do they want to take all of my medications? I get very sick and throw up at least four to five times every day. Also I end up with restless leg syndrome and I can’t sleep. When I leave I end up seeing my pdoc and she over time, puts me back on the same meds. Confusing.

At one hospital, the staff messed with me telling me that the pdoc was going to put me in a residential house, that was my first psych impatient unit at this hospital. They did other mean and cruel things to me.

I lucked out and this social worker at the ER called my tdoc and she stated that I didn’t need to be admitted.

Keep on the meds and keep in touch with your doctor…or find a decent psychiatrist. Unfortunately there can be a difference and it’s always good to have a second opinion!

These symptoms rarely go away by themselves so it’s important to get some decent treatment. See what psychiatrists are around in your vicinity and try one that you can!
