Just finished speaking with my family doctor

Pretty sure they won’t stop you from taking it since its life threatening and essential. I never had surgery after psychosis though.

When I had my appendix taken out they made me stop taking my AP like a week before the surgery because of the anesthesia.

This was years ago.

I had anesthesia a few times the last couple of years and never did they asked me to stop my AP.

I was only asked to stop taking my daily aspirin since it makes the blood thin. This was when I had a prostate biopsy in 2018.

I had 2 gastroscopies this year under anesthesia and I was allowed to take all my meds.

I had surgery with general anesthesia to rebuild my left elbow in 2012. I didn’t have to stop taking my meds at all.

I had my gallbladder removed laparoscopically. Three tiny scars. Back to normal in a few days. No more pain.
