Job Interview and newly medicated Schizophrenic

Anyone here have been able to hold a job with the voices? I’m newly medicated and got a job interview tomorrow but not sure I’m going to be able to get through it with all the voices and paranoia. A lot of times I can hardly go to the grocery store without hearing monsters talking to me through other people there.

I am constantly paranoid and fearful in all that I am doing/thinking/saying, because a group of entities and a malevolent entity make constant harassing comments (thankfully at a low volume level). The malevolent one pops in on occasion and at very random times, always leaving me with a pounding heart and 100x more fearful/paranoid then I was before. I am grateful I have part-time work for one individual who has become a close friend of mine and knows a bit of what I deal with. I wish you all the best with your job interview and hope you get a job that allows you to enjoy the process of your work as well as the people you are around. The environmental factors definitely play a huge part in how I can easily manage what I am experiencing (hearing entities, seeing lights/orbs/strings flying, hearing and feeling technological noises inside my skull and other parts of my body). Please know you are not alone in how you are feeling! :rosette:

I’m a medicated person living with psychotic depression and I’ve worked as a translator before. I actually really like the job- although very time intensive, it’s really worthwhile.
