Honestly, if your business is poppin, that shows you have some accomplishments under your belt. Entrepreneurs are daring and smart people, within reason of course. Those are goid qualites to have along with success. You should have no problem getting a girlfriend if that’s the case.

Good luck. Failures teach us as much as successes; you just gotta look hard for it.

I’ve tried four businesses. Only one is thriving. All the rest failed. And I’m going to be starting a fifth soon.

Did you know that when JK Rowling wrote Harry Potter she was rejected 12 TIMES!! Before she found a publisher who would print the book.

Harry Potter is now one of the most translated books of all time now (74 different languages) it is the most profitable fantasy series.

The movies have brought in 7.2 BILLION. The books brought in 7.7 BILLION. Games and toys accounted for yet ANOTHER 7.3 Billion. Over 120 million copies of the books have been sold in the US alone. The whole franchise is estimated at around 25 billion.

JK Rowling is now a literal billionaire. She was rejected over and over and over again. And she kept trying. And she successed at such a crazy massive scale I haven’t even seen before. It blows my mind.

It gives me hope knowing all of this. I hope it gives you hope too.

@valiumprincess …I worked in a bookstore in the States when the Fifth Harry Potter…the Order of the Phoenix came out in the states. It was amazing the hype. I did a whole shift just selling the preorders after receiving all the boxes in that we hid in stair wells because it was all stuff under embargo and not available to a certain date.

I’ve seen the power of Harry Potter and your on the money! I wish I was on Jk. Rowlings money for sure!

Beatles had a few simiralties the JK Rowling story. When they were just starting out they found their first manager, Brian Epstein. He had seen them perform live in little clubs like The Cavern. He didn’t think they were the best musicians around but he liked their charisma, charm and energy onstage (and he had the hots for John Lennon) and he thought they had potential so he introduced himself and they all liked each other so they hired him.

He had no experience in the music world except he ran a record store his father gave to him… But he took a demo of a few of their songs on vinyl and visited every music company around. One music mogul uttered the now semi-famous line when he rejected them. He said, “Guitar groups are on their way out.”

But every record company he went to rejected him and him and the Beatles were ready to give up but he convinced the Beatles to let him try one last, small, independent company. He went to this place and they decided to take a chance on the Beatles. So they financed the making of their first album and it was successful and the rest is history.

So yeah, I think you see my point.

In AA they told me, “Don’t give up ten minutes before the miracle happens.”
