I've reached a point where I've let go of the diagnosis

Since 2010 I’ve been wanting to know what exactly is wrong with me. Several opinions later … it simply doesn’t matter. My symptoms for the most part are under control.

To be honest it still bothers me that the docs can’t agree on a solid diagnosis for me.

So lately I’ve been considering both diagnoses for me as being acceptable.

I think diagnosis’ are very subjective… it used to bother but have no choice but to let that go now… maybe i’ll never find a definitive answer. For insurance purposes I am sticking with schizoaffective… unless they tell me otherwise.

Thats great to hear. Yeah what i think is most important is that the symptoms are treated. I reached the conclusion that diagnoses are subjective too.
Really the diagnosis is a way that a doctor can help provide the appropriate treatment.
